Private practice

Costs, transparently set out.

An aesthetic restoration — a veneer, an implant or a ceramic crown — is a private dental service. What it actually costs depends on the individual scope. This page explains the key factors, the way costs are clarified, and the option to finance the treatment via zahnkredit.at.

What determines the treatment price.

01

Diagnostic starting situation

Bone volume, number of missing teeth, condition of the remaining dentition. These factors are captured by CBCT scan and clinical examination.

02

Material and restoration type

Implant, bridge, bar or veneer. Each restoration type has its own material class and its own laboratory effort.

03

Number and complexity of steps

How many implants, how many shells, how demanding the bonding. The steps are itemised in the treatment and cost plan.

04

Dental laboratory

All prosthetic work is fabricated in Austrian master laboratories. The laboratory cost is a separate line item.

Initial consultation

The consultation is itself a service.

A thorough dental consultation is more than a casual chat. It comprises history, clinical examination, diagnostic imaging where needed and the discussion of possible treatment paths. That is a dental service in its own right, which under the rules of the Austrian Dental Chamber may not be provided free of charge.

At this private practice the consultation is therefore charged. It forms the basis of a binding treatment and cost plan and enables a serious, individual assessment instead of a flat answer.

Private practice

Private practice and Wahlarzt.

The private practice Dr. Pawlowski has no contract with ÖGK or other public health insurers. Fees are billed directly to you.

As a Wahlarzt practice we issue an invoice that you can submit to your health insurer. The insurer reimburses, depending on tariff and treatment, a portion of the fee. Aesthetic restorations such as veneers or implant-supported crowns are private services in principle, for which reimbursement is limited.

Instalment payments

Financing via zahnkredit.at.

Instalment payments are not offered directly at this practice. A proven solution is financing via zahnkredit.at, a provider specialised in dental treatments. Application and terms run directly through zahnkredit.at, independently of the practice.

What you receive

Your treatment and cost plan.

After the initial consultation and dental diagnostics you receive a written treatment and cost plan. It transparently lists every treatment step, the materials used and each fee item — as the basis for your decision and, where applicable, for reimbursement by your health insurer.
